OFFICERS

Each position can be held for no longer than 2 consecutive years. In April of each year Nominations are submitted and the new officers are presented in May at the last PTS meeting of the school year.

The following is a list of the duties of officers, as stated in
Article V of the PTS Constitution.

Section 1. The president shall preside at all regular monthly meetings. The president also has a seat on the School Board and sits in on Parish Council meetings unless another member of the board is appointed to do so.

Section 2. The First Vice President shall preside in the absence of the President and is responsible for the Society's primary fundraiser.

Section 3. The Second Vice President shall preside in the absence of both the President and First Vice President and is responsible for the Christmas and Mother's Day Stores.

Section 4. The Secretary shall record all minutes of the meetings and conduct all correspondence of the Society.

Section 5. The Treasurer or designee(s) for special account(s) shall receive all money and shall make all payments ordered by the society. He/she shall keep and render monthly, an accurate account of the receipts and disbursements.

Section 6. The PTS Board is also responsible for the overall operation of all Bingo and Catering functions.

Article VI- Executive Committee

There shall be an Executive Committee consisting of the Pastor, the Principal, one Teacher, the current officers and the immediate past President. This committee shall form plans and discuss all matters pertaining to the interest of the Society which shall be presented for consideration at the regular monthly meeting. The executive committee shall act on special business requiring attention between the regular meetings of the Society.
